Q&A

1. Why do you choose to start a business in China?

I came to China because I was impressed by the fast growing economy. I have always been fascinated by Chinese culture and I have been to China many times over the years for business reasons and I feel excited when I return to China.

Especially as a car designer, I see a huge market with all these new car companies and a lot of possibilities to create some completely new work experiences. And I also want to challenge myself to find new experiences in my life. There is also a lot of support for innovative companies in China. They have been simplifying and facilitating different processes to provide a good environment and a sense of home for new companies.

2. How is your working life in China?

Life and work in China are wonderful. Since I'm from Germany, China is a completely different country for me. There are so many new and exciting things to explore, such as food, scenery, cities, people, and rich culture.

I enjoy different challenges at work and that's my passion for work. It is also enjoyable to lead and work with the employees of the company, and it is also very inspiring for me personally. The team includes young people fresh out of university, international students from all over the world, as well as very experienced core staff. We have established a very dynamic and encouraging atmosphere in the office, with great team spirit.

3. What are the future development prospects of the company?

We are growing steadily and healthily. As you know, we have the ability to provide design services from early concept to late production vehicles. We have our own different internal design departments, which is one of our advantages. It represents our ability to complete innovative projects in a relatively short period of time, while also building long-term relationships with customers who are happy to work with us. The company has signed a strategic cooperation agreement with CP-VELA, a German-funded enterprise, and at the end of this year, the company will conclude a joint venture with Toyota General Business, a fortune 500 company, which also helps us to accomplish our mission. In short, so I am very optimistic about the future prospects.

4. How will China's auto industry develop in the future?

China is the world's largest auto market. After a slow period, many sales figures are rising again. There are many different new car companies in China. After the rapid development and imitation attempts, I think many car companies can focus on innovation and quality and establish their own unique brands, which can help them survive and become strong in the market, and the same is true in the international market.
